General update

Today I managed to finish my first draft for the Not For Prime Time Exchange, so I'll be spending the rest of the weekend editing my work.

Up to episode 9 of Orange is the New Black season 5, starting to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine, noticed a new show coming onto Netflix called Glow so might give that a try.

Trying to get back into cooking but my depression has been kicking my butt lately as well as my IBS problems once we get better weather it'll help.

I might start some of my cross stitch projects again as it will contribute to keeping my mind busy.

Yay, cross stitch! What kind of projects do you like to do?

I've done quite a mixture of cross stitch projects- landscapes, winter cottage, animals and I've even done Spike from Buffy, John Barrowman and David Tennant (for my mum). The one I'm about to start is a haunted house. What do you like to do?

Awesome. I always admire the bigger projects that people do.

I mostly do holiday and special occasion themed small projects for gifts, like magnets, bookmarks, and ornaments.

That's how I started out by making bookmarks for my Gran and Aunt. My Aunt did cross stitch before me, and she encouraged me to start larger projects. Although sometimes I like to do smaller projects still as they are quicker to do.

Awesome. My aunt is actually the one who inspired me to start cross stitch back as a teenager.

I think my aunt was the biggest part of me starting cross stitch as a teenager as well. Although it wasn't until my twenties that I started to get into it more and it became more of a hobby.
